• New Mexico Neuromuscular specializes in comprehensive nerve and muscle testing using electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS). Such testing is the standard for accurate and comprehensive outpatient evaluations of the peripheral nervous system (peripheral nerves and muscles).  

• Your doctor may recommend an EMG/NCS test if you have symptoms such as muscle weakness,  numbness, or tingling.
